System Shield prevents recovery of private or confidential information on your computer by securely overwriting the data. It uses methods approved by the US Department of Defense and other military agencies to ensure that data you wish to be deleted is permanently removed, no matter what technique of recovery is attempted. The program works by pro-actively finding files, folders, and other data that has been deleted but could still be easily recovered and then permanently erases the data without a trace. System Shield comes with a built in scheduler that allows you to run the program fully automatic on a user defined schedule with an additional option to automatically analyze selected drives after every boot. The program is safe to use, since it will only remove files have been previously deleted, using the standard Windows functions.
