HSLAB Logger is not a keylogger actually. The program is indeed designed to log computer activity but it has some features which also allow you to restrict user activity on a computer.
The program's main purpose is to log computer activity. It will create and save detailed logs containing the date/time, computer name, active user and application window caption. The program can also create statistics displayed as a pie chart containing the program usage percentage. Thus, you can get a pretty clear image of what's been going on while you were missing. Logs can be saved in a custom location. You can set the program to create activity logs for all users or only for selected users.
In order to make sure your computer won't be used for activities condoned by you, you can create restrictions for the use or optical media and removable drives. You can also restrict the use of programs by adding the path to the executable file to a black list. Moreover, you can restrict access to browsing Web pages containing your selection of blacklisted key words. You can passwords protect the program in order to prevent access to the logs.
