DiskCheckup reads the S.M.A.R.T attributes of your hard drive and displays the current values in a report. It can also track changes over time and calculate a T.E.C (Threshold Exceeded Condition) datethat may predict drive failure in the future. The program can optionally notify you by email when the threshold is exceeded. Unfortunately, DiskCheckup does not start automatically and cannot run inthe system tray, which makes long-term monitoring very inconvenient (unless you want to keep it running in your taskbar at all times).
