BGEye displays system information on the desktop. The information is rendered to a bitmap that is temporarily set as the system wallpaper. BGEye optionally displays... - UserName. - Local Date and Time. - ComputerName. - Computer Uptime. - CPU(s) (Model, Manufacturer etc). - CPU Clock Speed(s) (MHz). - Graphics Card (Model, Manufacturer etc). - Audio Card(s) (Model, Manufacturer etc). - Network Card(s) (Model, Manufacturer etc). - USB Device(s) (excluding 'Human Interface' devices). - Processes (Total and maximum). - RAM (Total, load and maximum load (load including Page File)). - Local Disk Drives (Total space and load). - Remote (networked) Disk Drives (Total space and load). The information BGEye displays is updated every minute. Suits (skins) for BGEye can be selected by clicking the system tray icon. There are several more skins avaiableable at the authors site. HERE BGEye uses your 3D Graphics Card and DirectX 9.0c to render the background and other elements. BGEye automatically detects when a fullscreen DirectX application is running and will do no processing until it has exited. The background and elements are all configurable by means of text-file input.
