Stock Quotes Pro is an application which instantly downloads end-of-day historical prices of stocks, indices and mutual funds publicly traded in US, Canada and international markets. Stock Quotes Pro produces quotes output in a customizable ASCII format which makes historical stock quotes data compatible with most spreadsheet, charting and technical analysis software packages like MetaStock, SuperCharts, Omega TradeStation, Microsoft Excel and others. "Historical Data Folder" shows the location where the data files will be stored. "File extensions" box allows to set a custom extensions for the files. Note that the file name will always be the same as the symbol. Date "Format" And "Separator" define the format on how dates would look like in the output data file. "Time Interval" allows you select commonly used data time ranges as well as a custom defined range "Custom Dates" allows you modifying custom data range. Note that a maximum time frame is 10 years. "Add Symbol in front" will add symbol to each line of quotes. This is useful when you are using such software package as MetaStock. "Reverse Data" checkbox changes the order of the downloaded quotes in the output file. With this box checked you'll have the dates order from the earliest to the latest, without the checkmark the quotes will be downloaded in the descending order. "Extension" box allows you specifying a custom file extension for the output files. "Select Custom Format" selector allows you to set all options at once applicable to the data format supported by third party software.
